Our Story
Distinct Echoes was inspired by my daughter and the unique way she experiences and understands the world.
Our autism journey has taught us how to hold two truths and that both joy and grief can coexist. Over the years, we have collected memorable sayings, gained unexpected wisdom and have adapted our lifestyle to meet the demands of our neurodiverse family. We flow differently, need extra transition time, thrive in quieter places and value softer edges throughout our days.
Some of our sayings were born from challenges, some from moments of humor, and some from seeing life through a different lens. Phrases like "Is everything Seven?" became more than words - they became a way to connect, distinctly. There's beauty found in the unique ways we perceive the world and relate to others.

What began as echoes within our home grew into a desire to share those messages with others.
Each design is created with the hope of fostering understanding, connection, and validation for individuals and families navigating their own unique journeys.
Whether a phrase makes you smile, feels seen, start a conversation, or simply reminds you that you're not alone, my hope is that these messages create space for compassion, curiosity and belonging.
At the heart of Distinct Echoes is the belief that our differences are worth celebrating, our stories are worth sharing, and that sometimes the simplest words can have the greatest Echo.
